Do I need any previous web or coding experience?
Not at all. This course is designed and created to guide you through every step of the website creation and launch without any previous knowledge or experience on the subject.
What will we use for the website?
We'll be using WordPress CMS (Content Management System). This is the self-hosted version, not to be confused with wordpress.com.
Are there additional costs in this course?
Yes. You will need to purchase a domain name ($12 to $15) and web hosting (the recommended hosting in the course is $4 per month). If you don't already have a domain name and hosting, we will go through setting this up during the course. The other optional cost is if you choose to purchase a theme for your website instead of using one of the many free themes available directly through the WordPress CMS. While this isn't required, this is an option and will be a one-time investment that generally ranges between $20 to $100.
When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
